Prior experience at a law firm is beneficial.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, punctual and detail-oriented, will have the ability to multi-task and prioritize work with minimal supervision, and will have excellent typing, organizational and communication skills.
Qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Associate's degree (preferred), 50
wpm typing speed, and experience working at a law firm (preferred).
Responsibilities include:
Provide administrative support and technical assistance to attorneys and paralegals, including managing calendars, emails, and file organization Transcribe dictation, draft and manage legal correspondence and client communications in a timely manner Open, monitor and manage case files as directed by attorneys, including tracking deadlines for court pleadings and disclosures (AlaFile, Alacourt, Pacer, etc.
) Assist with other administrative responsibilities as assigned Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
