At the host stand you are the first point of contact guests have with our establishment.
You can make or break a guest's whole experience.

Responsibilities:
Full knowledge of table numbers and floor plans Assists guests with entering/exiting the restaurant by opening doors when possible Greet all guests upon arrival in a friendly and gracious manner Records guest counts, seating preferences and needs (i.
e.
handicap accessible, high chair, etc) in computerized seating system Communicate with co-workers and manager to determine appropriate seating quote times Contacts guests through pager system when table becomes available Assigns seating based on available tables, guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in server sections Walks guests to designated table.
Inspect table for cleanliness and proper presentation.
Provide menus and name of server.
Leave guests with a pleasant salutation.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
